This study route also provides the greatest flexibility for accreditation of prior learning from ‘smaller’ units of learning. The course offers a broad range of specialist modules covering the practical skills and knowledge for professional practice. It also covers the theoretical framework through the study of research methods, clinical examination skills, leadership skills and legal, ethical and professional issues that are key transferable knowledge and skills to enable work both in Acute and Community Care. For all our professional development courses we are happy to accept self-funded or employer-funded applicants. All modules are included in the continuing professional development service level agreement with the NHS Health Education North West. About the course The Health and Community Studies Academic Group is clearly focused in its commitment to developing a health and social care workforce that can manage and achieve success in their lifelong personal and professional aspirations. Medical Engineering - BEng (Hons) By studying the University of Bolton’s BEng (Hons) in Medical Engineering you will learn the fundamental principles of engineering that are essential to the design and maintenance of medical equipment and instrumentation. Medical engineering is an ever expanding field, and applies the fundamentals of science and engineering to the medical technologies used in the diagnosis, monitoring and treatment of patients. The BEng (Hons) Medical Engineering programme will provide you with the skills, knowledge and experience required to maintain and meet the changing engineering needs of the medical profession. At the outset of the course you will focus on the key principles of engineering, mathematics and human biology. You will then pursue a specialised medical engineering focused curriculum, studying topics such as medical instrumentation, medical equipment technology and biomedical devices. You will have the opportunity to study across disciplines related to health, engineering and sports, and will work with the latest technological developments related to medical instrumentation, engineering and material design solutions. About the course You will gain an advanced understanding of engineering design, medical equipment technology and biological systems. The course will be delivered through a mixture of practical laboratories, computer simulation sessions, group activities and demonstrations supported by lectures. Assessment is a mixture of coursework, practical tests and examinations. The course is delivered via a cross-departmental partnership between the departments of engineering, materials, biology and sports. Menurut "Peraturan Sementara mengenai Piawaian Kawalan Kualiti Inggeris-Diajar Perubatan Sarjana Muda Pendidikan untuk Pelajar Antarabangsa di China", Kementerian Pendidikan China telah meluluskan Universiti Tenggara sebagai salah satu universiti yang layak di China untuk mendaftar pelajar antarabangsa dalam diajar dalam bahasa Inggeris program ijazah perubatan. Ijazah Sarjana Muda Sains Perubatan Menurut "Peraturan Sementara mengenai Piawaian Kawalan Kualiti Inggeris-Diajar Perubatan Sarjana Muda Pendidikan untuk Pelajar Antarabangsa di China", Kementerian Pendidikan China telah meluluskan Universiti Tenggara sebagai salah satu universiti yang layak di China untuk mendaftar pelajar antarabangsa dalam diajar dalam bahasa Inggeris program ijazah perubatan. Bagi mempercepatkan langkah yang pengantarabangsaan, Universiti Tenggara akan terus mendaftar pelajar antarabangsa dalam program sarjana muda yang diajar dalam bahasa Inggeris perubatan pada musim gugur semester 2010. Program ini bertujuan untuk memupuk profesional perubatan antarabangsa berkelayakan, memberi pertimbangan yang sewajarnya kepada keperluan yang mungkin bagi mereka untuk berkhidmat di tanah air mereka atau negara lain. Selepas menamatkan jumlah yang dikehendaki kredit, pelajar akan dianugerahkan diploma oleh Universiti Tenggara dan pelajar yang layak akan menerima Ijazah Sarjana Muda Sains Perubatan (MBBS). Graduan akan mempunyai peluang untuk mendaftar untuk Kelayakan Perubatan Peperiksaan sesuai dengan peraturan yang relatif negara masing-masing. Diajar dalam bahasa Inggeris, program ini terbuka kepada pelajar antarabangsa dalam mengejar ilmu dan amalan perubatan, yang kursus-kursus yang ditawarkan oleh Kolej Perubatan, SEU. Tinjauan Kolej Perubatan, SEU Kolej Perubatan Universiti Tenggara, yang berasal dari Nanjing Kereta Api Kolej Perubatan, yang permulaannya boleh dikesan kembali ke Kolej Perubatan Universiti Pusat ditubuhkan pada tahun 1935, telah digabungkan dengan Universiti Tenggara pada tahun 2000.
