Undergraduate course organized by the faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Banat in Timișoara is Veterinary medicine available in English and in Romanian for 6 years. The Veterinary Medicine program leads to Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. The tuition fee for undergraduate Veterinary Medicine is 3,200 Euro/year in the first 3 years (1st, 2nd and 3rd year, respectively) when all teaching activities are performed in English. For the next 3 years (4th, 5th and 6th year, respectively) with teaching activities in Romanian, the tuition fee is approx. 1,000 Euro/year for the students from EU countries, the same with the fee paid by the Romanian students. Fully complying with Direcve 2005/36/EC, the course content comprises 360 ECTS and is designed to produce knowledge as well as practical abilities. The teaching methods are adapted to the requirements of the European Higher Education Area. The curriculum includes the following compulsory subjects: A. Basic subjects: Biophysics, chemistry, animal biology, plant biology, biomathematics and computer science B. Specific subjects: - Group 1: a. Basic sciences Anatomy, Cellular biology, histology and embryology, physiology, physiopathology, biochemistry, genetics, pharmacology, pharmacy, toxicology, immunology, epidemiology, deontology - Group 2: b. Admission procedures Romanian citizens, citizens from EU/SEE/CE countries and citizens from non-EU countries can be accepted for studies at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Iasi – study in English according to the Methodology of admitting foreign citizens for studies in the academic year 2014/2015 . I. Romanian citizens Romanian citizens may choose to study Veterinary Medicine in English under the same conditions applicable to candidates from EU-third countries member states, EU member states, the European Economic Area and the Swiss Confederation, including the tuition fees. The application file should contain the following documents: a. Application form b. The Baccalaureate diploma or equivalent – original/legalized copy; c. The transcript of records for the latest high-school education cycle and the results of the Baccalaureate examination - original/legalized copy; d. Birth certificate – legalized copy); e. Marriage certificate (if the name has changed after marriage) – legalized copy); f. Copy of valid identity card; g. Medical certificate to prove that the person to be registered for studies does not suffer from infectious diseases or other illnesses that are incompatible with the future profession; h. II.2 The application file should contain the following documents: a. Certificate for recognition of studies from CNRED; b. Aplication form; c. The Baccalaureate diploma or equivalent – original copy and legalized translation; d. The transcript of records for the latest high-school education cycle and the results of the baccalaureate examination – original copy and legalized translation (if the original is in a language other than English or French); e.
